Ranking today’s games, least exciting to most exciting:
Houston at Cleveland
This was just an absolutely garbage game between 2 garbage teams
Denver at Las Vegas
The Raiders actually still have a fairly reasonable chance of winning the division
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh
9-0.
Tampa Bay at Carolina
The Bucs are clearly a really good team, but they better hope they don’t run into the Saints in the playoffs. This game was also Scorigami
Philadelphia at NY Giants
Well, the Eagles are still in first place. That’s about all I can say good about them after this game
San Francisco at New Orleans
If Brees can’t come back next week, who knows whether it’ll be Hill or Winston?
LA Chargers at Miami
All SEVEN of the Chargers’ losses have been by one possession. It’s just comical at this point
Seattle at LA Rams
Jalen Ramsey TOTALLY blanketed DK Metcalf, forcing Wilson to go elsewhere, where he still got picked twice by Darius Williams
Jacksonville at Green Bay
The Packers honored Paul Hornung before the game
Baltimore at New England
The Patriots still have a reasonable chance to make the playoffs. It appears Newton’s sucking post-COVID could have just been due to a slow recovery from it
Washington at Detroit
Longest GW FG in Lions history!
Buffalo at Arizona
In a rare move (caused by the Masters) the most distributed game of the day was a 4:05 game on the singleheader network, going to 67% of the country, who saw the Hail Murray. CBS’s obsession with starting 60 Minutes as soon as possible screwed the other 33% of the country from seeing this game however. When DEN@LV and LAC@MIA both ended before this game did, those audiences should have been shifted to this game. Yet they started 60 Minutes immediately for those audiences, which not only caused a desynced primetime for the rest of the night for CBS, but also ridiculously disallowed those people from seeing this incredible ending
