NL postseason scenarios for the final day

Cubs and Brewers are tied heading into the final regular season game today

If they both win or they both lose, they'll play a tiebreaker game at Wrigley Field tomorrow at either 12:05 or 3:09

3:09 if it's the only tiebreaker game tomorrow, 12:05 if there's also a tiebreaker game in the NL West (which would be at 1:09 PT aka 3:09)

Rockies and Dodgers are tied heading into the final regular season game

If they both win or they both lose, they'll play a tiebreaker game tomorrow at Dodger Stadium at 1:09

The Braves are playing the NL West winner in the NLDS. The Braves can only host that series if they win today and both NL West teams lose today. Otherwise, the NL West winner will host that series.

The last thing is minor, but it's worth mentioning in some capacity. The Indians have a chance to finish with the same record as the Braves, Rockies, or Dodgers. If that happens, and then they meet in the World Series, here's the breakdown of homefield advantage.

If it's Indians/Braves, hosted by the Braves

If it's Indians against an NL West team, the Indians would host.

So if the Indians want to have the ability to host a potential World Series against the Braves, today's game is meaningful for them as they need to win and hope for a Braves loss.
