NFC Wild Card #LETME

Less Exciting To More Exciting.

2. (5)Arizona Cardinals at (4)Carolina Panthers (4:35 ET Saturday, ESPN, ESPN3: Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden, and Lisa Salters) Sunset at 5:24.
Some have said this is the worst playoff game ever, but I disagree. The Panthers defense played lights out in December, and may have cost Mike Smith his job last Sunday. Cam Newton seems to be a changed man after the car accident he survived, and the flashes of brilliance from 2013 appear to be returning. Neither the Panthers nor the Cardinals have ever lost a Wild Card Game. The Panthers are the first-ever back-to-back champions of the NFC South. ESPN's playoff commercial has better music than any of its Monday night commercials, which were already on an epic level. ESPN also brought back old Cam Newton and Larry Fitzgerald This Is SportsCenter commercials in anticipation of the network's first-ever playoff game! Panthers 19, Cardinals 18

1. (6)Detroit Lions at (3)Dallas Cowboys (3:40 CT Sunday, Fox: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Erin Andrews, and Pam Oliver) Sunset at 5:36.
Last year when the Lions made the amazing last-minute drive to take the win over Big D, which concluded with Matt Stafford's fake spike play, my friend who's a Lions fan gave up on the game before the drive! Never give up on a football game until it is actually over. Pam Oliver rejoins Joe and Troy for the playoffs, this being her third-to-last game ever as a sideline reporter. Lions 38, Cowboys 36

AFC Wild Card #LETME

Less Exciting To More Exciting.

2. (5)Cincinnati Bengals at (4)Indianapolis Colts (1:05 ET Sunday, CBS: Jim Nantz, Phil Simms, and Tracy Wolfson) Sunset at 5:33.
Andy Dalton is 0-3 all-time in the postseason, but has made the playoffs all four of his seasons so far, and could soon tie AFC North rival Joe Flacco for most consecutive years entering the league and making the playoffs every year if he makes the postseason again next year. This is the first time in Dalton's career his team has made the postseason as a wild card team, and so things become even more difficult for him and his teammates as they must travel on the road to Indianapolis, where they already played in October. Bengals 27, Colts 0

1. (6)Baltimore Ravens at (3)Pittsburgh Steelers (8:15 ET Saturday, NBC: Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, and Michele Tafoya)
San Francisco and Seattle briefly became the best rivalry in the NFL, but that's done. Baltimore and Pittsburgh are certainly the best rivalry in the league for the last seven years (since Harbaugh/Flacco in 2008), and this second game they played against the Steelers in 2008, when the teams had the top two defenses in the NFL, kicked off the modern rivalry between the teams. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d80d505b9/NFL-GameDay-Scoreboard-Steelers-vs-Ravens-highlights Steelers 19, Ravens 16
